NEIS,Tony - Deputy Sheriff  of Santa Fe-  1870 - 80 era, Named in  in "The Coyote Badman". by Glen Shirley. Story of Bob Olinger who got a job as a Deputy Sheriff to make some killings he wished to do legal. Sheriff Pat Garrett gave him the job of guarding Billy The Kid. Olinger tried to get Billy The Kid to run so he could kill him but idea didn't work as exposed in this story published in complete old western magazine.
