BENTON, Thomas Senator * - 1846 era - American Governor of Missouri named in story entitled "THE FANTASTIC SPY WHO SMASHED THE MEXICANS" by Lawrence Cortesi about James Magoffin who saved the day for an numerically inferior  U. S. Army fforce against 7,000 Mexican troops guarding Santa Fe, New Mexico. How it came to pass and his saving of thousand of lives is a true western treasure seldom found but here it is in this complete Western magazine.

BENTON, Thomas, Senator - 1840 - 1890. Sites: CA, MS,MO,WY,OR. Named in biography of General John Charles Freemont entitle FREEMONT; A VERY STUBBORN MAN who saved California for the Union and aptly named as a United States Pioneer Hero as found in this very rare and complete western magazine.

BENTON, Thomas Hart, Senator - 1800 era. Site: AZ, MO, TN, IRELAND. Named in this story entitled 'JOHNNY BEHAN OF TOMBSTONE" by Glenn G. Boyer who writes that Sheriff "Johnny" Tombstone was in constant conflict with Wyatt Earp and the resultant story as published in this old and complete western magazine.

BENTONELLI, Joseph * - 1936 - Oklahoma native pictured and written  as  Metropolitan Opera Tenor  in article entitled " A Tenor's Lucky Moment"  in "Footnotes On A Week's Headliners" as saved from this old American Pictorial Magazine. Single page is 11 by 14 in excellent condition.

BENT'S FORT, ARKANSAS RIVER * - 1820 - 1880 era. Location: Western United States. Named in story entitled THE WAGON TRAIN BOSSES by J. L. Beardsley who writes of the grizzled bullwhackers and  muleskinners and their trips in the early pioneer days as found in this original, complete, old western magazine.

BENTZ, Donald N. * - 1810 - 90. Location: AZ, CA, MX, NY. Author of story of pioneer, prospector and builder, Solomon Warner. by Donald N. Bentz.  Grandson of a Revolutionary War Veteran, he left New York for the pioneer wilds and actually set the bricks for old Fort Yuma before settling down to a lifetime of work as he opened the first “American” store in Tucson. He had to leave the country when the Civil War broke out, but he returned to become one of Arizona’s leading citizens as found in this old western magazine

BENTZ, Donald N. * - 1850 - 90 era - Location, Tucson, Arizona. Author of Story entitled "Tucson's Most Famous Saloon" by Donald N. Bentz. Author writes of Charles Owen Brown who founded the Congress Hall Saloon of which it was said, "there is no billiard, card or drinking saloon equal to it in tasty and comfortable finish...it is superb as found in this rare and complete western magazine.

Bentz, the true story of Captain Gerald "Jerry" Russell of the 3rd Cavalry, U. S. Army who was known for his unmercifully hard treatment of his soldiers but gained their respect by riding beside them so much so that they took the name of RUSSELL'S RAGGED ROGUES as related in this complete and hard to find western magazine

BENTZ, Donald N., ,  1900 era - Mexico - Author of article entitled "The Dazzling Mexican Cossack", the life story of Colonel Emilio E. K. Kosterlitzky who rose the Royal Navy School in Moscow to Colonel of the Mexican Rurales and Special Agent for the FBI as published in this old rare and complete  western magazine.

BENTZ, Donald N., author of  - 1880 Era History entitled "Nicodemus  - "The Promised Land" - the story of a Kansas town founded by a Tennessee Black Slave named Benjamin "Pap" Singleton - called the "Moses of the Colored Exodus". This is lost Black American history in this rediscovered magazine.
