BELLE OF DAWSON  -  1898 era -  Another  name for Klondike Kate  in story of  the "girls" that made a warm bed in the cold of the Gold Rush but Klondike Kate was probably the toughest and smartest. In her life story entitled "Klondike Strumpet", she bested the rest of the "call girls" outwitting gamblers, prospectors, miners while fleecing sourdoughs. She was one of a kind, so much so, that in the end, Time and Newsweek reported on her death.

He is in the United States for his first visit in a dozen years. He ranks as one of the most distinguished and industrious of British writers. He is the first win prizes in history at Oxford.
